$40 A Day With Rachel Ray is one of three Food Network programs hosted by Rachel Ray and her second one launched after "30 Minute Meals." The show follows Ray to American and European cities where she attempts to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack on a $40 daily budget. Ray travels to different restaurants and chooses the best bargains off the menu -- this usually includes a main course, beverage and sometimes a desert. There are a few occasions when Ray goes a bit over budget, however, she usually comes in under the $40 wire. The meal calculations also include taxes and tips. The cheapest meals she has found thus far was in Vancouver, British Columbia. The price of her meals ended up costing less than $25 including taxes and tips. Due to Ray's busy schedule with other Food Network shows and her highly successful daytime talk show, $40 A Day is currently in hiatus. MORE
