16 and Pregnant is a documentary series on MTV that follows the lives of pregnant teenage girls across America. Each hour-long episode follows the pregnancy of a different teenager, and the unique struggles she faces in her daily life. You'll meet girls from all walks of life who have one thing in common: dealing with pregnancy while still a teenager in high school. From the moment these girls realize they are pregnant, they are hit with the responsibility of making difficult decisions: how to break the news to their parents and friends, whether or not to drop out of high school, and, of course, whether or not to keep their babies. While some of the girls gain the support of their parents and boyfriends, others are faced with harsh opposition and are forced to brave their journey alone. You'll meet several girls who are considering the difficult option of giving their child up for adoption, and others who are fiercely determined to make motherhood work at nearly any cost.
