Zuffa, LLC is an American sports promotion company that was founded in 2001. They specialize in mixed martial arts. Its headquartered out of Las Vegas, Nevada where it was created by Station Casinos executive Frank Fertitta III and Lorenzo Fertitta. It was made to be the parent entity for the UFC, the Ultimate Fighting Championship after it was bought by the Fertittas from the Semaphore Entertainment Group. Lorenzo is Zuffa's CEO and Chairman. The company's day to day operations is overseen by Dana White. Zuffa is known for making UFC grow in popularity from a small sport with a limited audience to a multi million dollar enterprise that now has millions of viewers and events that are internationally popular.
