UNCONVENTIONAL FILMS is a production company that makes genre television, movies and new media. Unconventional Films is headed by Vernon Mortensen, Kelly Parks and Neil Trusso. Unconventional's sister company is ROGUE ARTS which produces many of their projects and provides home entertainment as well as theatrical distribution services for their media. In 2010 their boxing film The Kid: Chamaco was released to theatres. It featured Michael Madsen and Martin Sheen.
