This TV network is a basic entertainment television network made for digital television sub channels. It launched on November 1st, 2008. It is a joint venture between the film and television studio of Metro Goldwyn Mayer and the Chicago based Weigel Broadcasting Company. It is called 'This TV' for branding and marketing purposes such as the slogan 'THIS is the place for movies,' 'THIS is what you're watching' and 'It doesn't get any better than THIS!' The channel is largely focused on showing movies.
