The Hunt for Gollum is the official website for the independent fan fiction film, spun off from the appendices of the popular fantasy tome The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. In the 38 minute film, everyone's favorite wizard Gandalf (Patrick O'Connor) dispatches Aragorn (Adrian Webster) to track down the malformed Hobbit Gollum before he can meet up with villain Sauron and potentially give up valuable intelligence one the highly coveted One Ring so many are after. The high definition short was written and directed by Chris Bouchard and debuted online for free viewing in May of 2009 and exists with the blessing of Tolkien Enterprises. MORE
