The Artists Den is an online based entertainment company that promotes musical performances from intimate and unique locations around the world. In 2004, a series of performances by bands in living rooms jump started the site, as one music lover's quest to give other music lovers the kind of performances they deserved-small, quaint, and personal. Since then, the word has spread and the locations have grown, not so much in square footage but to similarly uncharacteristic venues, from a 100 year old ship to a Masonic temple. Notable acts to grace the floors of The Artists Den include Ani DiFranco, Ben Harper, Alanis Morrissette, and Regina Spektor; all the concerts are by invitation only and free, insuring the most intimate setting possible. The upstart company has enjoyed notable growth since its inception, and in 2008, Artists Den Entertainment brought the performances into living rooms across the country with the television series Live From The Artists Den, giving unlimited access to the performances.
