Snap.fm is the only music focused social bookmarking site on the web. It is independently run and funded by part-time obsessed independent music fans. Snap.fm is an ever evolving site about finding and sharing the music you love. Launched November 15th we have a small but growing community of music lovers. Our community grows with your help, so tell your friends. About five months ago the folks here at snap.fm began the ambitious project of launching a live video music channel. Today that ambition has turned to fruition, and we've named the result snapbox. No doubt we were influenced by those people and their video channels that came before us. Hats off especially to Take Away Show and Handheld Shows. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right? But, what we're hoping to create is something distinct. Distinct in that snap.fm is the first music news and music media social bookmarking site and creating our own music content seems a natural extension of our energies (and our bandwidth). Also distinct in that these videos are unique to Boston, showcasing our local talents and those that are just passing through the Hub. MORE
