Screaming Room is a multimedia website featuring low budget short horror films. Northern Irelanders Bill Taylor and Brian Mulholland have taken their love and affinity for horror films and given us an awesome little collection of fantastically eerie short films. From the sinister to the bizarre, these low budget movies are short and sweet, hitting you quick with a case of the creeps. Shying away from standard horror genre staples like mummies and werewolves, Taylor and Mulholland instead delve deeper into the psyche as audiences are put in intimate, relatable situations with the victims. Films like Paralysed and Master Bates Motel show the main players at their most vulnerable, making them all the more scary as we can all relate to the terror they experience. The only concern at Screaming Room, is whether the visionary up and comers Taylor and Mulholland leave the project behind as they move on to bigger and better things.
