Ride Earth is a humanitarian and environmental awareness project started in 2007 by friends Tom Allen and Andrew Welch. It was on June 17th that these two brave and inspired individuals decided to leave the comfort of their own homes and travel completely around the world by use of mountain bikes. Their goal of the project was to prove to the world that there are many other viable means of transportation that don't require the use of fossil fuels and that ultimately don't destroy the planet. As the trip continued they realized their mission was starting to change. Now, they seek out adventures in places not accessible by modern means of transportation.
