Founded in 1979 as Robert Halmi Incorporated, RHI Entertainment is an American producer of television movies and miniseries. Robert Halmi Sr. and his son, Robert Halmi Jr. founded the company in New York City more than thirty years ago to produce and distribute high quality direct to TV movies. Now with offices in Los Angeles, London, New York, and Sydney, RHI has achieved 464 Emmy nominations, 105 Emmy awards, 15 golden Globe Awards and countless others. RHI controls the distribution rights to over one thousand titles, including the highest rated miniseries ever broadcast, Merlin. In 2007, RHI expanded it's licensing to allow many of it's movies to be downloaded through iTunes and various Video on Demand services. Over the years RHI has established itself as the masters of many genres, including dramas, action, historical epics, suspense, and fantasy.
