Reason.tv is an online video production website that is a related project to Reason magazine. Both reason.tv and Reason magazine are projects of the Reason Foundation, an American nonprofit think tank founded in 1968. Reason, based in Los Angeles, California, is a nonpartisan, non-profit, tax-exempt organization that advocates for "the values of individual freedom and choice, limited government, and market-friendly policies." Reason.tv presents videos that are related to the Reason Foundation's philosophies and ideas, including being home to The Drew Carey Project. Partnering with Reason.tv editor-in-chief Nick Gillespie, Carey has produced numerous documentary pieces exposing injustices in marginalized communities that have very few avenues to get their voice out into the mainstream media.
