Nordstrom is an upscale department chain store that is headquartered in Downtown Seattle, Washington and was founded by John W. Nordstrom and Carl F. Wallin. The giant retailer sells clothing, accessories, handbags, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrances and home furnishing in select locations. Nordstrom is known to have extraordinary customer experience and their infamous gray card employee handbook that contains 75 words. Even though this manual has now expanded it still remains an infamous icon of the retailer. Nordstrom plans on opening 50 stores within the next ten years.
