MAC Cosmetics (Make-up Art Cosmetics) is one of the worlds leading make-up companies. Founded in 1984 by Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo in Toronto, Canada, the company initially only designed and marketed its products to professional make-up artists. But when the first MAC store opened in the United States in 1991, MAC beautification went public. However, the company still reserves a specialized product line (MAC PRO) for professional artists. The cosmetic company prides itself on some of its social initiative programs. MAC does not allow any product testing on animals and prohibits any of its material suppliers to do so. They have a MAC recycling program in which they offer incentives to those customers that return at least six empty make-up containers.
