Lingerie Football League is a professional women's football league founded in 2009 by Mitchell S. Mortaza. The Lingerie Football League was originally presented as a pay-per-view alternative to the Super Bowl halftime show. The popularity of the Lingerie Bowl drove Mortaza to create an entire league. The football games in the Lingerie Football League are full contact, but differ from the National Football League in several ways, not the least of which is the players' attire. Aside from dressing in lingerie and football pads, there are no punts or field goals, and each side consists of seven players and the field is 50 yards instead of the standard 100. After the first full season of the LFL, the Los Angeles Temptation took home the championship in the Lingerie Bowl. MORE
