Levi's (Levi Strauss & Co.) has been continually changing the face of fashion and clothing since the company invented the world's first blue jeans in 1873. The company was founded in 1953 by Levi Strauss who had moved to San Francisco, California to open a sister store to his brother's New York dry goods retail location. However, it wasn't until they started selling their denim overalls that they turned their sites on the clothing industry. Today the company is one of the best known manufacturers of clothing in the world.
