Karl Lagerfeld is a German fashion designer, artist, and photographer. He was born in Germany in 1931 and now does most of his work out of Paris, France. Once a simple fashion draftsman, Karl has become a fashion designer icon. He has spent most of his fashion career working as the head designer for Chanel fashion house. Not to mention he runs his own Karl Lagerfeld fashion line and happens to run numerous clothing lines for the Italian company, Fendi. His clothing has seen the face of every major fashion magazine in the world and has touched the skin of hundreds of 'A-List' clients including Mariah Carey and Kylie Minogue.
