Jib Jab is a website featuring flash animated cartoons shorts that are funny and often political. Brothers Evan and Gregg Spiridellis started up the company back in 1999, but when their video depicting Presidential candidates John Kerry and George W. Bush singing ÒThis Land Is Your LandÓ in 2004 became a viral sensation, Jib Jab was on the map. 2004 proved to be a banner year for the brothers; Jay Leno had them on The Tonight Show,, and Peter Jennings named them People of the Year. Even and Gregg have been going strong ever since. The website itself has three sections, ÒeCardsÓ and ÒEveryday Fun Sendables,Ó that allow website users to personalize a video or message with their face and send to someone, and ÒOriginals,Ó which are custom flash cartoons created by Evan and Gregg themselves. These videos, usually set to a parody of a common folk song, are silly and irreverent, and often depict political figures in humorous or unflattering ways. The two brothers will also take on pop culture in general, but don't expect them to pick sides. Equal opportunists in the truest sense, they will poke fun at anyone and everyone.
