Giambattista Valli is one of the most respected fashion designers ever to come out of Italy. Originally from Rome, the designer has worked for some of the top fashion houses around the world including Fendi and Krizia. His first line was introduced in 2003 in Paris, France. The line included vibrant minidresses over leggings, cigarette pants, and fur everywhere. After making his stamp in the fashion world he moved to making more conservative, ready-to-wear designs. He introduced loose and ample coats that flared away from the body. His suits were shown with pilgrim hats and he tailored them to be long, lean, and with flares at the ankles.
