Filmation Associates was a production company that produced animation and live action television shows mainly during the 1970s and 80s. Some of their more famous programs included the animated Star Trek series, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Groovy Goolies, and the Ghost Busters (Completely unrelated to the movies and subsequent animated adaptation of the movies, 'The Real Ghostbusters.'). Filmation's animations were known for having life lessons or morals said by their characters, typically in epilogues. Sometimes whole episodes were devoted to dealing with topics usually avoided by typical cartoons. For example they had a He-Man episode that dealt with He-man fearing he had accidently killed an innocent bystander during a battle.
