Deserted is a campy web series about a bunch of mismatched characters lost somewhere in the desert, trying to find their way home. At a pow wow in Los Angeles, award winning director Todd Lampe and producer ErinRose Widner conceived the idea, as a overdone take off of the popular show Lost, and came out of the gate running. With the ultimate goal of funny in mind for the program, Lampe and Widner, who also stars in the show, use all chances to exploit the popular prime time drama's storytelling style for their own means, with randomly implanted characters and flashbacks galore. The cast of characters is widely diverse, and all funny in their own way, but the real comedic sparks fly when these misfits try to piece together the how and why of where they are and where they are going. With a great premise and a talented batch of players, Deserted, in the true spirit of its inspiration, could go on forever. MORE
