Colours TV is an American channel produced by the non-profit Black Star Communications, with the stated purpose of bridging cultural divides and promoting understanding. It provides programming and information targeted at people of colour. Colours TV also offers a web site with on demand programming and an e-zine. Most of its programming focuses on cultural issues faced by Hispanic, Black, Asian and Native American people and communities. The channel was created in 1999 and launched nationwide in 2001. It is headquartered in Denver, Colorado and has a fairly strong spiritual focus to its programming, although said programming is ecumenical in nature.
