La Blogotheque is a website that produces a groundbreaking video podcast series. The goal is to one, meet a band. Two, take them outside into the streets. Three, ask them to play in the middle of the street and four, shoot the movie in one unique, continuous shot. Each show is recorded live and the groups must feel the spark of sponteneatiy, improvisation and be one with their envirnoments. Whatever instruments they have with them are their instruments and whether their environments are public or private, is where they’ll play. The result is, whatever happens, happens. These are what are known as the Take Away Shows that are a video podcast from the site that airs each week when they give away a session, a shot with the band all in a unique and often times unusual urban environment. The concept was the original idea of Chryde and Vincent Moon. Their partner for the English version site is Daytrotter that gives away incredible audio sessions twice a week. MORE
