Apollo's Pad is a series of internet videos about a puppet named Apollo that films various comedic clips in the bar he owns. Unique and original, Apollo's Pad features the lovable bar owner Apollo, and a cast of his friends, from the rocking Brit Mickey to the rather promiscuous and ironically named Angel. The gang gets together at the the bar, aptly named Apollo's Pad, and discusses, often with musical accompaniment, anything from food to fashion to hosting an orgy. The clips are outrageous, irreverent, and as childish as adult humor can be, clearly not looking to cater to the stuffy, stay at home types. Each cast member of the web based puppetry showcase represents a different genre of popular music, and as the word grows about the clever show, it offers a way for music companies and record labels to use it as a strategic marketing tool.
