Alexander McQueen is a high-end, luxury fashion house that was founded by Lee Alexander McQueen, a British fashion designer and couturier who is known for his provocative, emotionally charged, raw energy fashion shows with a tendency towards juxtaposing the female strength and sensuality with fragility throughout his luxurious collections. McQueen is also known for his work as the chief designer at Givenchy, the French Haute Couture House. The Alexander McQueen brand was founded in 1992. Today the controversial brand is run by creative director Sarah Burton after the untimely and tragic death of McQueen.
