Alberta Ferretti is a fashion designer and dress maker from Italy. Her clothing showroom is in Milan and her personal studio is in the small village of Cattolica, near Rimini. She creates designs for the Alberta Ferreti and Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti lines. Ferretti is known for her use of twisting, tucking and draping techniques in her clothing designs. She uses subtle layering effects. Her dresses are often cut high in the front and draped low in the back. She also created Aeffe U.S.A which produces and distributes clothing from Jean Paul Gaultier, Rifat Ozbek, Moschino and Narcisco Rodriguez.
