Papa Roach

Papa Roach is an American hard rock band founded in 1993 by lead singer Jacoby Shaddix. Shaddix eventually added Jerry Horton, Tobin Esperance, and Tony Palermo and the band was set. They released their first album Old Friends From Young Years in 1997 and gained popularity on the live metal scene. After two self-released EPs, 5 Tracks Deep and Let 'Em Know, Papa Roach released Infest in 2000. Infest proved to be Papa Roach's break out album behind the strength of singles "Last Resort", "Between Angels and Insects", and "Broken Home". Their next album was Lovehatetragedy and contained hit singles like "She Loves Me Not" and "Time and Time Again". Their next album, Getting Away With Murder, was another success with the eponymous single receiving much airplay. Papa Roach continued their popularity in the decade by releasing The Paramour Sessions, Metamorphosis, and Time for Annihilation.
