My Morning Jacket

My Morning Jacket will be performing live on May 31st at 9pm ET for a special presentation of Unstaged. My Morning Jacket is an American rock band of consequential repute. This band was originally formed in the year 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky. The founder member was singer, guitarist and lyrics composer Jim James, who is also popularly known as Yim Yames. The other members of the band include Tom Blankenship on the bass guitar, Patrick Hallahan on the drums, Carl Broemel as a saxophonist, guitarist, vocalist, pedal street guitarist and Bo Koster as the percussionist, vocalist and the keyboardist. The debut album of the band was titled 'The Tennessee Fire' and was an independent release in May 1999. Danny Cash joined this group as a keyboard player on the year 2000. In the year 2002, My Morning Jacket signed up a contract with the ATO records in 2002 and their first album along with the collaboration of a major label was released in 2003 by the name of 'It Still Moves'.
