Lil Wayne is a veteran of the rap world, despite his relatively young age. He began his career at the age of 9 on the Cash Money Records label. Lil Wayne joined the Hot Boyz with other rappers Juvenile, B.G., and Turk and they released their first album Get It How U Live! in 1997. As the group went on to release Guerilla Warfare in 1999, Lil Wayne also recorded and released his first solo album Tha Block Is Hot. Wayne went on to release Lights Out, 500 Degreez, and Tha Carter which gained Lil Wayne quite a bit of attention. Lil Wayne went on to release Tha Carter II along with several much talked about mixtapes. In 2008 Tha Carter III was released and Lil Wayne was on the main stage of pop culture behind the hit singles "Lollipop", "Got Money", and "A Milli".
