Keyshia Cole

Keyshia Cole or Keyshia Michelle Cole was born on 15th October of 1981. She is a well-established American vocalist and recording artist who has drawn a major inspiration from Mary J Blige and Brandy. She reckons them as dominant influences when it comes to her singing style and voice modulation as well. Her debut album 'Never' which released in March 2004, failed to make it to the charts. June 2005 saw the release of her platinum selling album 'The Way It Is', followed by 'Just Like You' in September 2007, which went on to be her sophomore platinum album as well. Her third album 'A Different Me', a certified platinum rated album, catapulted her to fresh levels of stardom. Keyshia attempted a sort of career shift with documentary series 'Keyshia Cole-The Way It Is', aired between 2006 - 2008 on BET. The reality series is a portrayal of how Cole maneuvered her career and relationship with her mother and sister. MORE
