Arrested Development

Arrested Development is an American hip hop group very popular in the 1990's. It consists of Speech, the founder of the band, Montsho Eshe, One Love, Tassha Larae, Rasadon, Baba Oje, JJ Boogie, and Za. The name of their first album, "3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of..." is very significant to their band. It took this band that exact amount of time to be offered a record deal. Three of the songs on this album achieved a ranking of the "top ten." These songs include "Tennessee", "People Everyday", and "Mr. Wendal." Arrested Development also won two Grammys in 1993. One for the best new artist, and another for the best rap performance by a duo or group. They were named band of the year by the Rolling Stone magazine. Arrested Development sued Fox network for their using of the name "Arrested Development." This suit is referenced in the hilarious television comedy "Arrested Development" multiple times. MORE
