Zooey (Sarah Louise Lilley) and her husband, Angel (Xavier Jimenez), are like many young newlyweds, hoping to build a better life for themselves together, complete with a home, white picket fence, children and a dog. But Zooey is a professional prostitute with a heroin addiction and Angel is a drug dealer who is hiding from some thugs he owes money to. Their dream life is a far cry from the gritty urban existence they are currently living. The two are barely able to keep their lives from spiraling out of control.
