Yoga, Inc. is a 2006 documentary movie, written and directed by John Philip, which takes a closer look at the lucrative yoga industry. With everyone from fitness-addicted, weight-obsessed Hollywood starlets, to stressed out college students, to overworked businessmen, to zen-seeking hippies jumping on the oh-so-attractive yoga bandwagon, one must think: where there are so many people, there tends to be an equally great amount of money. Yoga is no different and, although one might find the basis of yoga and its centering efforts to be contradictory to a money making industry, that is exactly what it is - at least partially.
