Wilhelm Reich In Hell is a courtroom drama, based on the novel written by Robert Anton Wilson. This film begins by analyzing all the basic liberties and intrinsic political rights of mankind. Dr. Wilhelm Reich (Ray Paolantonio) finds himself accused of thought crime, and viewers follow the trial that ensues. In it, he explains his paradigms and apprehensions, citing major enlightenment ideals and concepts. This film takes a harsh look at the reality of totalitarian and tyrannous governments. This comes at a time when fascism had taken a hold of Italy and Germany, and communism was strong on the Soviet Union. While Dr. Wilhelm Reich stands trial in 1954, his books are being banned by Stalin, Hitler, and surprisingly enough, the United States government. Will he be able to put forth a valid case for personal freedom, or be tuned out in the aftermath of World War II.
