Who Framed Roger Rabbit is the part animated, part live action sensation produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump). The stage is Hollywood, California and the movie industry in the 1930s and out of the blue, powerful head of Maroon Cartoons hires down on his luck private eye Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins, Mermaids, Hook, Enemy at the Gates) to shake up cartoon star Roger Rabbit with pictures of his wife ' sultry Jessica (Kathleen Turner) ' playing patty cake with ACME head Marvin Acme, in the hopes that it will get Roger back on his acting track. This seems to have the reverse effect, as Marvin Acme is later found dead from having had a safe dropped on his head MORE [EDIT]
