What Goes Up is a 2009 comedic drama written and directed by Jonathan Glatzer, which tells the story of a psychologically affected New York journalist who enters the world of a few troubled high school students while covering an official story. Reporter Campbell Babbitt (Steve Coogan) is assigned the task to cover the launch of the Challenger Space Shuttle in New Hampshire. Still deeply affected by the loss of a dear friend who committed suicide, Campbell arrives in the small town only to find out that the launch has been postponed for a couple of days.
