War of The Worlds is an American science fiction film made in 1953 and adapted from the beloved classic novel by H.G. Wells While the original tale takes place at the turn of the 20th century, it is now modernized for the 1950's. Dr. Forrester, one of Earth's brightest scientist, spots a large meteorite crash land while on a fishing trip. Soon it unscrews itself revealing to be a spacecraft, one filled with angry aliens attacking anyone in sight. Soon meteors fall all over the world, ones containing killer heat rays and disintegration beams, giant robotic ones fully capable of wiping out all of Earth's armies.
