Voodoo Bayoo is a 12 minute short horror film directed by Javier Guiterrez. It is a dark, stormy night in the Louisiana Bayou. A frail, dehydrated mosquito is zapped with a bolt of lightning as it searches for nourishment. As a result of the lightning strike, the mosquito becomes erratic and disoriented. With its flight plan altered, the mosquito lands in a deserted shack in a dark corner of the swamp. Inside the shack sits the lone inhabitant: a small voodoo doll. Hungry and desperate for blood, the mosquito bites the voodoo. Through some unseen force, the bite causes the doll to come alive. The doll is initially confused by its surroundings.
