Visioneers focuses on George Washington Winsterhammerman (Zach Galifianakis), who lives an ordinary life in an ordinary job at the Jeffers Corporation. The Corporation is literally the largest and most profitable company ever, and has got that way by focusing on happiness through productivity. George is no exception to the rule, with his dead-end, boring job and a marriage that has lost all of its passion. A bizarre epidemic, however, has begun, as people begin to literally explode from stress. At first, George ignores this, but then his doctor tells him his recurring dreams are a preliminary symptom.
