Veritas: The Prince of Truth

Veritas: The Prince of Truth is a 2007 family fantasy film directed by Arturo Ruiz-Esparza. The film blends animation and live action. Like many nerdy teenagers, young Kern Williams (Bret Loehr) loses himself in the excitement and adventure of comic books. When he learns that his favorite series will be cancelled, Kern is angry, then disappointed and finally resigned. What he does not expect is that the hero of the series, Vertias (Sean Patrick Flanery), will suddenly appear in Kern's world and ask for his help. It turns out that Veritas is fighting against his most dangerous enemy yet, the evil Nemisii (Kate Walsh), who is bent on destroying Veritas's comic book world. Although he does not have much faith in himself, Kern agrees to help Veritas fight Nemisii. To make matters more complicated, it seems that Veritas is not nearly as strong and graceful in the real world as he was in the pages of his comic book. With the help of Kern's friend Mouse (Tyler Posey), the trio sets out to save the day, and discover important things about friendship, bravery and honesty. MORE [EDIT]
