Vampire Wars is a 1990 horror action adventure drama anime directed by Hiroyuki Hoshiyama. It was based on the best selling novel written by Kiyoshi Kasia. In the anime a NASA base in Arizona gets attacked by a group of vampires. Shortly after this the dead body of a CIA agent is found in Paris, floating in the Seine river. This bizarre situation attracts the attention of Monsieur Lassar, a French secret service agent. Lassar believes these two events are connected so he starts investigating. His investigations lead him to Lamia Vindaw, a Hollywood actress.
