Two Ninas

Two Ninas is a charming 1999 romantic comedy from writer-director Neil Turitz. Lonely, involuntarily celibate Marty Sachs (Ron Livingston) has never had much luck with women, unlike his best friend Dave (Bray Poor), who narrates the story of luckless Marty's search for love. He's ready to give up on New York City and his dream of writing the great American novel. He is ready to slink home to Maine and his family's business. Then he meets not one, but two lovely possibilities, both named Nina. First, there's Nina Cohen (Cara Buono), who shares many of Marty's interests, but she's spent too long on the Manhattan dating merry-go-round. Nina Harris (Amanda Peet) doesn't know what she wants, but she takes a liking to Marty and that's enough. Marty cannot decide which Nina is the best woman for him, so he dates them both. Eventually, the ladies find out about his double-play, and Marty will have to make a difficult decision. MORE [EDIT]
