Two Evil Eyes

Two Evil Eyes is a two segment 1990 horror movie based on two short stories written by Edgar Allan Poe. Famous horror directors George A. Romero and Dario Argento each directed one segment. The first segment, "The Facts About Mr. Valdeman" directed by Romero, tells the story of a man who, on his deathbed is hypnotized and signs over all his wealth to his adulteress wife. The man dies while under hypnosis and becomes stuck in limbo. The division between the physical and spiritual world becomes blurred allowing the man to reenter the physical realm. The man then pursues release and revenge for the injustices committed against him. The second segment, "The Black Cat" tells the story of an alcoholic, forensic photographer who grows jealous of his girlfriend's cat. He decides to kill the animal, but struggles to keep it dead. The animal keeps coming back and the photographer is beyond the bounds of sanity. Two Evil Eyes stars Adrienne Barbeau, Harvey Keitel and Ramy Zada. MORE [EDIT]
