Truth or Dare? A Critical Madness is a 1986 cult horror film directed by Tim Ritter. The film follows Mike Strauber (played by John Brace) who has walked in on his wife in bed with his best friend Jerry Powers (played by Bruce Gold). Seeing this makes Mike go mad and his long suppressed psychological wounds begin to resurface. Also resurfacing is his creepy childhood obsession with the game of Truth or Dare. He begins having hallucinations and goes around murdering people and mutilating himself. He ends up being put in an insane asylum where the horrors continue. This film features murders with such weapons as a chainsaw and a mace. At the time of directing this, Tim Ritter was only 18 years old...and it shows. Fans of cheesy low MORE [EDIT]
