Tropical Rainforest is a short nature documentary directed by Ben Shedd and released in 1992. Host Geoffrey Holder guides viewers through the world's largest tropical rainforests, describing the exotic plants and animals that live in each and explaining the role these animals play in the local ecosystem. He has an affinity for the large, unusual and often dangerous animals that the film crew encounters; these include giant salamanders, moths with five-inch wingspans, and the aptly named Goliath Bird-Eating Spider (whose leg span may exceed twelve inches).
