Troll 2 is a sequel-in-name-only to the 1986 Sonny Bono vehicle, which has become a cult classic and has achieved great notoriety as being possibly the worst movie ever made. The plot-in-name-only involves a family swap between the hospitality-craving Waits' and the Presents Ð denizens of rural Nilbog where the Waits family will be staying for vacation.
