Town Tamer is a western from 1965, based on a novel by Frank Gruber. Tom Rosser (Dana Andrews) is a gun-for-hire around his town, when he dodges a bullet that kills his wife, Carol (Coleen Gray). Lee Ring (Lyle Bettger) had been sent by the outlaw, Riley Condor (Bruce Cabot) to kill Rosser when he made the mistake of killing Carol. Despondent, Tom leaves town, but comes back two years later to find out that the murdering outlaws are running the entire town. It doesn't take the bad guys long to discover that they are outwitted and outmatched when they come face to face with Tom, who is determined to run them out-of-town.
