Totally Baked: A Pot-U-Mentary is a 2007 action comedy by director Lee Abbott. The film explores the truth about marijuana in a comedic fashion. David Bertman (Thomas Lyons) is an uptight, over-stressed 37 year old father of one who is first introduced to the reality of pot when medical marijuana promoting activists crash his college reunion barbeque with his then-debate mates. When his teenage daughter, Gina Marie (Heather Sossaman), arrives with a joint in her pocket, he automatically concludes the worst: she is a druggie. He has to overcome his own hypocrisies and pre-conceptions in order to have the open father-daughter conversation with her that he needs to have. When pro-pot activist Dr. Willa Peterson (Roma Maffia) enlists the assistance of the Fun-Onion snack food empire, convincing them that the legalization of pot would cause their sales to rocket, things get really crazy. Especially once a high-powered PR guru enters the equation, using homosexuality to scare super religious parents into trying to get their kids on pot. Humorous and lively, Totally Baked: A Pot-U-Mentary takes a multi-sided look at the political debate over the legalization of marijuana.MORE[EDIT]
