Total Recall is a 1990 science fiction action/thriller film about memory, identity, and sabotage Doug Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a mild-mannered construction worker who lives on Earth but dreams of visiting a recently colonized Mars. Quaid goes to a company called Rekall to have memories of a virtual vacation to the red planet installed in his mind. Once he enters the Rekall machine, however, the technicians make a disconcerting discovery: Quaid's mind has been previously wiped. At this point, Quaid awakens and claims that the technicians have blown his cover as a secret agent and proceeds to kill several of them.
