Time Limit is a 1957 legal drama directed by Karl Malden, better known for his role in The Streets of San Francisco. The story follows Major Harry Cargill (Richard Basehart) who is accused of collaborating with the enemy while imprisoned in a North Korean POW camp. Army Colonel William Edwards (Richard Widmark) is given the unsavory task of collecting evidence against him. His job is made easier, however, when Cargill willingly admits his guilt and provides evidence against himself. Edwards is suspicious of the confession, however, as the act of treason immediately followed the deaths of the two soldiers. This suspicion is compounded when Edwards hears identically rehearsed accounts of the incident from all of the surviving POWs. MORE [EDIT]
